July 10 / 11 Karlyn Elford makes Western Canadian Games Team
Congratulations to Karlyn Elford for being selected to compete in the Pan Am (PATCO) triathlon championships in Edmonton on Sunday, July 10th, 2011. Karlyn earned her selection to the event by being one of the top triathlon prospects in Canada. The event takes place at Hawrelak Park.
Along those same lines, Karlyn is also competing in 3 triathlon races at Western Canada Games this coming August 5-9th, 2011. Karlyn is the top Alberta qualifier for females at the Western Canada Games, which take place in Kamloops, BC.

Aug 10 / 11 Karlyn Elford places 4th at Western Canada Summer Games
Karlyn Elford returned on Monday, August 1st from a great weekend of racing for Silver Tide at Canadian Age Group Championships in Montreal, and travelled right across the country to Kamloops for the Western Canada Games where she competed in 3 different Triathlon races.
In the individual race, Karlyn placed 4th overall. A great result for one of Silver Tide's busiest athletes this summer - racing at an elite level in both swimming and triathlon. Way to go, Karlyn!
