June 14 / 11 Good Luck Nadine Williams and Coach Chris Nelson at World Championships
Nadine Williams and Coach Chris are selected to the Canadian National Team to the FINA World Championships in Shanghai, China. The championships tour takes place from July 11th thru July 25th, 2011. Nadine will be competing in the 10km Open Water on July 19, and will swim one of either the 5km relay event on July 21, or the individual 5km on July 22. This is the highest national team event in 2011, and it is Nadine's 3rd World Championships and 3rd senior national team overall. She is going to China to continue climbing the World Rankings of open water swimming.
Later this summer, Nadine and Chris will be back on the road to China to compete at the FISU World Student Games in Shenzhen, China. This championships tour takes place from Aug 7th thru 14th, 2011. Nadine will once again compete in the 10km Open Water event on Aug 13. Coach Chris will be the lead coach for open water swimming at these games.
