Nadine Williams
makes Pan Pacific Games Team
On Saturday, July
17th, Nadine Williams raced in the opening event at the Open Water
World Championships in Roberval, QC.
Nadine swam the Female 10-km event to a
best ever placing of 27th at the World Championships.
The conditions were rough, and as a
result nearly 1/3 of the competitors failed to complete the circuit.
Among those who failed to finish were
several of the top ranked swimmers in the world, as well as
Nadine’s Canadian teammate, Zsofia Balas.
As the top-placing Canadian female,
Nadine secured the first spot on the Pan Pacific Games Team that will
competing in Irvine, California this August. Congratulations, Dini!
